LIABILITY

We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience with our party rentals. To ensure this, we kindly request that you refer to our safety guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding that once the equipment is set up, Slumber Scapes | Tent Slumber Parties will not be held liable for any accidents, personal injuries, or loss of property.

SAFETY POLICY

We always appreciate the enthusiasm of kids and their siblings during tent setup. To ensure everyone's safety, we kindly request that an adult directly supervise children under the age of 10 while we are setting up the rental. Additionally, we kindly request that pets are not present in the party space during setup or pick up. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

It's important to note that inflatable air mattresses are commonly used as beds, but it's crucial to keep in mind the safety guidelines provided by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. According to their recommendations, it's important to ensure that children under the age of 15 months are not allowed to sleep on inflatable air mattresses, as there is a potential risk of suffocation to the infant. To ensure the safety of all guests, we kindly request that you also comply with this guideline and ensure that no children under the age of 15 months are sleeping on the tent air mattresses.

*Jumping on mattresses is not allowed.

*Do not engage in rough housing inside or near the tents. The tents are made of fragile materials such as wood and plastic, which can break and cause injury.

REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT

As part of our policies, we require a damage deposit to cover any potential costs incurred from damaged, lost, or broken items that are included in your package. We kindly request that you ensure that children do not use slime, nail polish, make-up, markers, paint, or food/drinks near the tents to avoid any accidental damage. The damage deposit amount is set at $100 and will be refunded within 24 hours of checkout if no damages are confirmed. In the event that any property is found to have incurred light damage or staining, a cleaning fee will be charged for each item. Any property that is found to be severely damaged, lost or stolen will result in a fee equivalent to the cost of replacement. If rental equipment is unavailable at the time of pick-up, we reserve the right to charge for an additional night.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We want to confirm that the $100 deposit fee for your party is non-refundable. However, we understand that unexpected situations may arise, and in the rare event that we must cancel your party date due to an emergency, we will be happy to refund your deposit along with any amount already paid toward your party balance. We will keep you informed in case such a situation arises. In case you face a situation where one of your guests cancels after the deposit has been paid, please note that our policy does not allow refunds per guest tents.

We kindly request that you make use of our cancellation policy to keep us informed of any changes or cancellations to your party as soon as possible. We completely understand that things may come up unexpectedly, and we are more than willing to work with you to reschedule your party for another date based on our availability calendar at that time. We do not offer refunds for cancellations. We want to make sure that your party is a success and will do our best to accommodate any changes in your plans.

Your party date is not confirmed until the $100 deposit is made.

Please keep in mind that the remaining balance for your party must be paid in full no later than 7 days before your party date, following the payment of your deposit. If for any reason the balance is not paid by this deadline, regrettably we may have to cancel your party without any refund on the deposit or any other amount paid towards the party. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

COVID POLICY

We understand that in stopping the spread of COVID-19, plans must be postponed. As a small business, we take great care to ensure that all linens are thoroughly sanitized in fragrance free, hypoallergenic detergent after each use. Trays and other accessories are cleaned and disinfected before being carefully stored and loaded for delivery in pristine condition. Moreover, we strive to be well-prepared with the inventory for your chosen theme, so that you can enjoy your special day without any worries. Slumber Scapes does not offer cancelations but we are more than happy to reschedule your tent party for the next available date.

PREPARING FOR YOUR EVENT DATE

Preparedness policy: Set up is at 9am the day of the party. Please ensure that the furniture is moved and the space is clean before we arrive. Each tent is approximately 4 feet in width and 75 inches in length. If the space is not ready upon our arrival, we will charge $50 to the card on file. The day after the slumber party, we will arrive between 10 AM - 12 PM to pack up. Please note that if you are late for either the set-up or pick-up and I have to wait for more than 15 minutes, you will be charged an additional $50 as a late fee. Please do not attempt to move any equipment on the day of or the day after the event. Additionally, kindly avoid trying to help with packing items on the following day.

Dont' forget to tell your guests to bring their own sleepover pillow for additional sanitization purposes. Pillows provided are only for decorative purposes. We take pride in ensuring that everything we provide is washed and sanitized between parties. It's best practice to have your guests bring a blanket as well during the winter/fall season. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and clean environment for all our guests.

PETS

We cherish the companionship of our beloved pets! To ensure their utmost safety and a smooth party setup, kindly keep them away from the tent space during set up or pick up. We would really appreciate also, if you could thoughtfully make sure that your furry friends stay away from the party area, that would be great! From our experience, having pets around can sometimes lead to accidents and damages. Also, let's work together to create a spotless party space by removing any pet hair beforehand. Thank you!

POLICY FOR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

We are always glad to see that our clients have fully enjoyed the tent sites when we come to pick them up the next morning. As a small business, we take extra time and care to ensure the quality of our rental inventory for every client without having to increase our rental rates.

We would like to remind you that jumping on the tent beds is strictly prohibited. This is a necessary precaution we take to ensure the safety of our guests and prevent any damage to our inventory. We are confident that you understand the importance of enforcing this rule and communicating it to all guests. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

We highly appreciate clients who go above and beyond with our themes! To ensure a seamless experience, we kindly request all guests to refrain from handling nail polish, makeup, or any other staining products within the tentsite area. Your cooperation will greatly help in maintaining the quality of our services.

PAYMENT METHODS

We currently accept Venmo and PayPal at this time. As we grow, we are exploring various payment options for clients. NOTE: Full payment must be paid 5 days prior to the scheduled party. A damage deposit of $100.00 is required to reserve your date. The deposit will be refunded within 24 hours after the event, provided that there is no damage to any of the items. If there is any damage, the cost to replace or clean the items will be deducted from the deposit.

At Slumber Scapes, we are fully aware of the diverse tasks that go into hosting a successful party. That's why we take pride in offering a comprehensive package that includes the delivery, setup, and pickup of all party rental services booked by our clients. We are confident in our ability to provide top-notch service that guarantees the success of any party. It is important to note, however, that our focus is solely on the quality-ensured delivery, setup, and cleanup of our party rental items. As a result, we do not offer party services such as event coordination or cleanup beyond our scope.

We are pleased to work with our clients in fulfilling their customization theme requests, which may require a fee of up to $50 to cover the cost of purchasing new inventory for the request. However, if the request is a combination of colors and inventory from different themes we already offer, no fee will be charged. To ensure that we meet or exceed your expectations, please provide as much detail as possible in your initial booking form request.

How Do I Book A Party?
Hosting a party has never been easier! With just a few clicks, you can choose from a range of themes and the number of tents you require. You're all set to host the perfect party!
What Area(s) Do You Serve?
We are located in Rio Rancho. We service the Rio Rancho, ABQ, Los Lunas, Placitas, Corrales, Bernalillo, and Santa Fe areas. Any delivery outside 20 miles of Slumber Scapes will require a travel fee.
How many kids do we accommodate?
Currently, we can offer up to 6 tents. However, if you need more, we're happy to help. Just give us a call and we'll see what we can do to make your party even better!
What happens the day of the slumber party?
We will arrive at the scheduled time. We will set up and then leave! Please have the furniture moved and the space clean for us when we arrive. Each tent is about 4 feet wide and 75 inches long. In the event that the space is not ready for us, we will charge the card on file $50. The day after the slumber party, we will arrive between 10 AM - 12 PM to clean up. If you are late to either the set-up or pick-up and I am waiting for you longer than 15 minutes, you will be charged an extra $50 late fee. Please refrain from moving any equipment on the day of or the day after. Also, kindly avoid attempting to assist with packing items the following day.

What's included in the price?
We handle all set up & pick up! We will take care of delivering, setting up, and styling your tents with all the necessary items, including mattresses, mattress cover, fitted sheet, decorative blanket, bed tray, tray décor, letter board and any additional Add-Ons. You can rest easy knowing that we'll also handle the pickup and professional laundering of all the linens, as well as disinfecting any remaining items. Enjoy a stress-free experience!
Is there a deposit?
To secure your party date, we require a refundable deposit of $100. The balance must be paid in full 7 days before the event. Failure to make the payment within the specified time will result in cancellation of your party. Please note that once you make a booking, you won't be able to reduce the number of tents reserved. However, if additional tents are available, you may add them to your booking. In case any of the provided items are damaged during your stay, the cost of repairs or replacement will be deducted from your deposit. Upon checking and confirming that all items are in good condition, your deposit will be refunded.
What is your cancellation policy?
At Slumber Scapes we do not offer refunds for cancellations. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel due to unforeseeable circumstances, we will promptly refund your deposit and any payments made. If an emergency arises and you need to reschedule your event, we are happy to offer you the next available date. You can trust in our commitment to providing a fair and reliable service.

We do not stay and host the party. By setting everything up just as you need it, we empower you to host the perfect party without any worries or stress.
How long can we keep the tents?
Our standard package is for a one night rental and it's important to note that we will schedule a pick up the next day between the hours of 9am-12pm. Please make sure your tents are ready for pick up at the agreed upon time. If we need to wait for more than 15 minutes, a $50 deduction will be taken from the deposit. If the wait time exceeds 30 minutes, an additional night rental will be charged. Please keep in mind that each additional night is $30 per tent/per night, only if available.
Can tents be set up outside?
We understand that you may have a preference for outdoor camping, but please note that our sleepover tents are designed for indoor use only. However, we want to make sure your needs are met, so we suggest you contact Slumber Scapes to explore further options that may suit your preferences better.
Why aren't sleeping pillows included?
It is imperative that we do not provide sleeping pillows due to hygienic reasons. As such, we require each guest to bring their own pillows for a comfortable sleep. Thank you for your cooperation.
How is bedding cleaned?
Rest assured that we take every measure to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our linens and party inventory. We work diligently to sanitize, wash, and disinfect all linens after each use using a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic detergent. Additionally, we thoroughly clean and disinfect all trays and accessories. You can trust that your safety is our top priority.
What about pets?
We understand that pets are a part of your family. It would be helpful if you could arrange a comfortable and safe spot for your pets away from the party area. This will reduce the likelihood of any accidents or damages and guarantee a fun and worry-free party for everyone. Additionally, we kindly request that pets are not present in the party space during setup or pick up. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

How much space is required?
Each tent setup requires an area of approximately 4 feet in width and 7.5 feet in depth. This is to ensure that the twin air mattress can fit comfortably inside the tent. However, it is advisable to leave an additional 1-2 feet of space in front of the tent for a walkway. This will allow clients to move around the area easily and comfortably without disturbing the tent or other objects nearby. The drop down menu on the site provides sizing dimensions to view.

Will you help move furniture?
Please note that we do not provide furniture moving services. Kindly ensure that your space is ready before the scheduled set up time. If, upon our arrival, we find that the space is not ready for set up within 15 minutes, a $50 charge will be added to your bill. If the space takes longer than 30 minutes to get ready for set up, the event will be cancelled.
